(iPhones, Android, tablets) to immerse yourself into its multi-layered story. Rising out of the detritus of 9/11, PALE MALE was created by artist Roz Dimon who admits that this artwork comes not from her hand alone. It was inspired by the story of the famous New York City red-tailed hawk, Pale Male, as well as Dimon's studies in medieval iconography. The work is about “finding home when all is lost.” A recognized pioneer in new media art, Dimon led some of the earliest digital initiatives for such corporate giants as Lehman Brothers, Deloitte, and The Wall Street Journal online—All part of the World Trade/Financial Center complex where she worked for over a decade.
