Christ Church has long stood a beacon of welcome, faith, and service in Sag Harbor—
a  gathering place where people of all backgrounds come together to grow in spirit and  community. Today, we reach out to you with full hearts and a hopeful request:
Will you help us  make our Parish Hall fully accessible to all?  

Our Mission: Inclusive Welcome  

Sag Harbor has few large, affordable indoor spaces open to the public. Our two-story Parish  Hall is a vital resource—serving support groups, arts organizations, historical societies,  interfaith partners, and neighborhood associations. Yet, too many of our neighbors—especially  those with physical limitations—are unable to share fully in this community life. 

The Project we have developed plans to:  

• Construct an ADA-compliant entrance ramp;  

• Install an elevator; and  

• Build accessible restrooms.  

  These improvements are the crucial first step in our broader vision—a vision that includes a  professional kitchen to help address food insecurity in our community.  Total cost for parish hall accessibility renovations: $450,000.
  Planned completion: Summer 2026

With gratitude, we celebrate:  

• $50,000 in pledges and donations for this project;  
• $200,000 NY State CREST Grant (reimbursed as work items are completed);
• $200,000 bridge loan offered by the Episcopal Church Building Fund. 
To secure this bridge loan, we must raise an additional $150,000 in committed funds by the end of November 2025.

This is our urgent call.
