Parish Hall Renovation Phases

In the first phase, an ADA-compliant ramp, elevator, and restrooms will be installed.
In the second and third phases the building will be connected to the Village sewer system and a commercial kitchen added. In the final phase, the building’s 1600-square-foot halls will become a community service center addressing food insecurity, reducing social isolation, and providing affordable space for local organizations and residents. We are embarking on these renovations because Christ Church has long stood as a beacon of welcome and service in the Village of Sag Harbor—a gathering place where people of all backgrounds come together.

Today, we reach out to you with full hearts and a hopeful request: Will you help Christ Church achieve the phase 1 renovation goal?  

Phase 1 Objective: Parish Hall ADA Accessibility 

Sag Harbor has few large, affordable indoor spaces open to the public. The two-story Parish  Hall is a vital resource—serving support groups, arts organizations, historical societies,  interfaith partners, and neighborhood associations. Yet, too many of our neighbors—especially  those with physical limitations—are unable to access this space.

Phase 1 Renovation Work:  ADA-compliant entrance ramp; Elevator; and Accessible restrooms. 

These improvements are the crucial first step in achieving the broader vision of providing a community center for the Village of Sag Harbor.  

Total renovation cost: $450,000

Already secured:

• $82,000 in pledges and donations  

• $200,000 NY State CREST Grant

Balanced needed: $168,000
